The APLS (Association des propriétaires du lac des Sittelles), created in 1974, is a non-profit organization representing nearly 700 owners of residences and land. Its purpose is to organize community life and represent all the owners of the Domaine in order to improve the quality of life for everyone, while respecting the environment and ensuring, as a priority, the protection of Lake Sittelles. The SPLA advocates broad-based participation in its recreational and managerial activities, as well as cost-sharing in the equitable use of facilities, resources and public goods. The strength and effectiveness of the Association's representation in municipal and government bodies are based on the group spirit of its members.
Étang du Grand-Duc: In addition to the beaches, this other body of water, located near 14 rue des Plaines. Swimming is allowed and it is also the only place where dogs are allowed to swim.
Hiking trails: The Lac des Sittelles territory has five marked hiking trails accessible to members and their guests. Use them in summer or winter as a snowshoe trail.
