I want to tell you today about my favourite accessories and backyard musts, along with sharing my love for the flowers in my garden. Ready?
First off, if you don't know about Norka Living yet—you're going to become obsessed with this discovery. We placed two of their beyond comfortable bean bags right beside the pool so that anyone can sit and recline in them all summer long. My 11-month-old daughter loves to play on them too (always under my supervision, of course). We also have some handy just for the pool itself—relaxing on these feels pretty much like curling up in bed, only you're floating in the water instead. We're big, big fans of these additions to our backyard.
Here's another exciting addition to our backyard: a baby chair!!! While you may not consider this a "must-have," I'm proud of this find. And, seeing as I keep getting questions about it, I thought I'd tell you more about it here. Yes, this is a miniature outdoor chair. It's made to look like rattan, but the piece is made in plastic so that you can keep it outside without issue. Our girl now has her very own little chair that looks just like the big ones! In terms of its size, she'll probably be able to use it until she's 4-5 years old. We already had a two-seater bench in the same style that I bought last year at Homesense, so I'm delighted with this Jysk find that fits in perfectly with the backyard.
And as for the flowers, if you follow me on my social media channels, then by now you know how much I love white flowers. I'm mainly fond of hydrangeas, geraniums and peonies. But of all of these, I would have to say that my favourites are the hydrangeas. We have a big tree and numerous hydrangea plants around the pool. And although they haven't blossomed to their fullest just yet, these pretty "pompoms" are starting to grow whiter and fuller, slowly but surely!
