Saint-Faustin Church The Saint-Faustin Church is of heritage interest for its architectural value. Built in 1894 and then enlarged in 1907, it is representative of parish churches erected at the turn of the 20th century in rural areas. The place of worship is characteristic of the religious architecture of colonization parishes, with its wooden cladding, rectangular plan without a transept, central bell tower, and three-aisled nave. Tree of Love: The Tree of Love was created in June 2012 by Faustin-based artist Alessandro Gamacchio. Located in the Mont-Blanc train station park, this public artwork is dedicated to expressing love with a capital L.
The Tree of Love is a 9-foot-high, 16-foot-diameter metal structure that can hold up to 15,000 padlocks called "messenger hearts." These heart-shaped padlocks, hollow in the center, are designed to hold messages of love. Once closed, the messenger heart is sealed for eternity.
