In 2007, In 2007, Opération Enfant Soleil celebrated its 20th anniversary! Since 1988, Opération Enfant Soleil has donated $101 million dollars to hospitals and organizations all over Quebec.
For the past 20 years, RE/MAX has been supporting Opération Enfant Soleil, a non-profit organization that raises funds to help sick children in the province. Every year, during the Telethon, over 50 RE/MAX offices are transformed into call centres where donations are collected from the general public. In addition, during the year, RE/MAX agents and franchisees as well as their families and support staff organize many fund-raising activities, such as roadblocks, golf tournaments and benefit suppers as well as long cycling or inline skating excursions whose sole objective is to help sick children.
Since 1988, RE/MAX has raised more than $11.4 million to support the development of high-quality pediatrics for all children in Quebec. During the Telethon on June 2-3, for the 4th year in a row, the RE/MAX network went over the $1-million mark and presented a cheque of $1.2 million!
And so not only are RE/MAX agents the highest achievers, but they are also the most generous. Year after year, they devote their time and energy to improving the well-being of thousands of children.
