1  The calculated mortgage payment excludes the cost of mortgage insurance for cases where the downpayment is less than 20% of the advertised price of the home.

Note :  The minimum down payment required for the purchase of a single home, a condominium or a duplex is 5 % of the purchase price (for the purchase of a three-unit home or more, the minimum down payment is 10 %).
